Berliners know how to party and there are an abundance of events throughout the year. We’ve compiled a list of the biggest street parties in Berlin
May Day (Labour day) has historically been a day of demonstrations across Berlin. However, it’s easy to stay clear of protests and instead enjoy the street food, parties and open-air concerts at Myfest in Kreuzberg.
Karneval der Kulturen (Carnival of Cultures). Four days of parades, street food, craft stalls and music to celebrate the diverse cultures of Berlin. You will experience the colourful, vibrant side of Berlin during this landmark event in the cultural calendar.
St Christopher’s Day. Annual LGBT celebrations and demonstrations. There are around 80 wagons in the large street parade, which runs from Kurfurstendamm to Tiergarten circling the Victory Column at the end of the parade.
International Beer Festival running alongside Europe’s longest architectural monument, Karl-Marx-Allee. The festival showcases over 2000 beers on a 2.2km stretch of stalls, bars and music.
We arrange a tailored itinerary for your time in Berlin to make the most of the great events Berlin has to offer. Special event parties will be run for Nomaden participants and alumni members.
